The historical and unique property consists of two terraced houses with identical façades that originally belonged to the same family, gathered around an atrium. The property was technically transformed into one house. It was based on a requirement of IPHAN (Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional) because the neighborhood is listed as a World Heritage Site.
